Treviño served as Spokesman and Traveling Press Secretary to Texas Governor Greg Abbott during the successful 2018 gubernatorial campaign, where he played a key role in shaping the Governor’s public image. He also hosted a popular video series on Governor Abbott’s official Facebook page and accompanied the Governor at major events throughout the state.

In Washington, D.C., Treviño was appointed to a four-year term as Senior Advisor and Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), where he led high-level communications efforts for White House initiatives and major national campaigns.
